Okay, I wish it was under different circumstances (i.e.: my own show!… that’d be nice!), but however…

I made my début on Today FM today… by doing the voiceover for the ad for Harvey Norman’s “Digital Expo” sale this weekend. It runs from this evening until Sunday. It’s kinda weird to hear myself on national radio (and, of course, it’s syndicated to a load of other local stations like Red FM in Cork, LMFM in Louth/Meath, Live95 in Limerick, and so on). In the past 2 hours on Tom Dunne’s Pet Sounds, I’ve heard the ad at least six times…
Oh god… it’ll drive people mad…
At least I got to change the script a bit so I didn’t have to shout “Go Harvey Go!” at the end of it

Congrats… have they decided to get rid of the Australian ‘Haaaahvey’ voice?
Nah, would be nice if they did and I was doing it full time and making money for it alright… but they’re unlikely to get rid of the Ozzie ‘Go Harvey Go’ guy in fairness!
