Normally I wouldn’t pay much attention to Steve Jobs’ keynote addresses buy they’ve become more interesting of late, what with the iPhone and all that malarkey. Today, at WWDC 07 (Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference), the news he announced that most concerns me (still being shackled to Windows XP) was that Safari - Apple’s small, fast and feature-packed web browser will now be available for Windows, bringing a bit more healthy competition to the Windows browser market and giving Firefox and IE a run for their money. Now all we need is a Linux version…!

The rest of Steve Jobs’ keynote speech, including the revelation that there will be ONE version of OSX Leopard (more info at the web site), and it will cost only US$129 (Steve mentioned “Leopard shipping in October. Basic version, $129. Premium version, $129. Business version, $129, Enterprise version $129. Ultimate version, $129″ - a clear jab at Windows Vista’s many and pricey editions - to rapturous applause ) can be seen here on engadget or here on gizmodo.
The full video of the keynote address should be made available on the OSX Leopard site soon.
