Hi there! First time here? Feel free to subscribe to my RSS feed. If you like what you read, you can vote for me on IrishBlogs.info. Thanks for visiting!

Microsoft announces LOLCode support and Cheezburger Studios. Yeah. LOLCode. Yeah. Har Har.

On boards.ie, I’m asking what you think are the sexiest songs in the world. I’ll use the best of them in the top ten on my show tomorrow night. Marvin Gaye, Barry White… you know the sort…

Congrats to well known blogger and Internet/technology specialist Adam Beecher (a.k.a. ‘dahamsta‘) - one time committee member of IrelandOffline (or was he chairman?)… he’s getting married! Good work, fellah!

Tempting me over to the Linux side again… Freespire 2.0 is based on Ubuntu but comes with proprietary software like Java, Flash and Adobe Acrobat, proprietary codecs for MP3, Windows Media, and other formats and proprietary drivers for optimum 3D graphic card support, better WiFi support, and more. Looks interesting alright, but, based on previous bad experiences, I reckon I’ll be sticking with XP at least until I next buy a PC.

A court in the US has decided that online vote swapping IS legal. Generally, dependant on what state you live in, you could have been pretty sure how your state would sway during the Bush/Gore election. Thanks to the United States’ electoral college system, Bush supporters in New England and Gore supporters in Texas, for example, were pretty sure they were throwing their votes away. So what do you do? You visit a web page like voteexchange2000.com or voteswap2000.com and find someone in another state who is willing to trade their vote with yours. You’ll go ahead and help their candidate win by a wide margin in your state if they’ll cast a ballot for your preferred candidate. Good thinking… but it was never likely that a Bush supporter would vote for Gore. Could have helped Ralph Nader though…

Free downloads ‘n stuff for your computer… Here’s Lifehacker’s Top 10 Free Wallpaper, Fonts and Icon sources list. Handy!

Not much has happened so far on ShiteDrivers.com (apart from Choicer telling us How to Overtake) but don’t worry - it’ll be updated soon. Know any shite drivers yourself? Then why not sign up!?
