Richard Branson has sold Virgin Megastores - now to be re-branded as “Zavvi” stores. The re-branding has already happened in the UK and will happen here in January. Not mad about the new name meself, to be honest…
Donncha has been spammed in an attempted domain scam by a Chinese company and he’s not the only one. The Chinese are far from the only spammers to target Irish bloggers - plenty of Irish companies are at it too…

On the radio: I’m talking to Seán Moncrieff on Newstalk 106-108 today and my own radio show returns this Friday coming, December 14th with the best music of 2007.
The Irish Independent’s rep has taken a hammering among the online community, no more so than in the Irish blogosphere. As Damien reports, they’re attacking bloggers while at the same time wanting them to work for free… not quite how it works, that, is it?
