Earlier, during the week, I blogged about globalPandora, the site which allowed Pandora to be used by people outside the United States.
Download Squad and a few others ran the story too, and the globalPandora site undoubtedly got many thousands of hits, but - more importantly, I guess - got the attention of Pandora themselves who did their best to shut it down.
For now, the globalPandora site says this:
As the DownloadSquad article says, though:
Now, enjoy it while it lasts, because it’s extremely unlikely that globalPandora will be allowed to exist for much longer. On the other hand, now that it’s been done once, it’s pretty likely that once it is shut down, globalPandora clones will pop up to replace it. Music - and all data, really - that is free somewhere will eventually be free everywhere.
It was nice having an all-too-brief taste of what Pandora is like… Jango looks like a pretty decent substitute for now.

Using this (VPN) method, you can watch TV on Hulu, abc.com, CBS, and other services - and access music on Pandora or Rhapsody from outside the US. Result!
