Hi there! First time here? Feel free to subscribe to my RSS feed. If you like what you read, you can vote for me on IrishBlogs.info. Thanks for visiting!

Love this. Found it via Damien’s fluffies:

Weezer and over 200 fans performing Radiohead’s “Creep” all together at a special ‘Hootenanny’ in Portland, Oregon:

(Warning: Bad language. Well… the word “fucking” is in the song.)

In other news, I’m planning to close ShiteDrivers.com as it seems to have run its course and I’ve done all I can do with it. Anbody want the domain?

I’ll be attending the Irish Blog Awards (or the “Bloscars” as one paper has nicknamed them) tonight because ShiteDrivers.com is nominated.

I’ll be taking photos with my Sony Ericsson K800i and uploading them directly to here during the event. I’ll probably take a few better shots with my 8MP camera and upload them later.

Now, if only I could find my “fluffy” badge… :(

Good luck to all the nominees… as someone else said,… “break a link”!

● Thanks for the link, Damien - my 3rd fluffy link in the past week or two. Yes, I’m giving away prizes on the radio show’s site… I only hope someone enters now!

● Ever wondered whose site shares the same IP address as yours? Find out with My IP Neighbors (sic). This site apparently shares it’s IP with a Bank of America site, a site for Bunratty in Co. Clare, sites for the gay communities in both Cork and Limerick, and - of course - ShiteDrivers.com, among (many) others!

● What exactly does your mobile phone say about you? Forbes have a few ideas.

● I’ve spotted another couple of cool music sites out there, and I keep coming back to them - one in particular, “Musicovery : interactive webRadio” picks the songs you hear based on your mood. Are you heartbroken? Energetic? Positive? Dark? Musicovery has the music for you.

● Also, there’s Splice,- I found this handy for grabbing sound effects used by other DJ’s around the world and finding unusual mixes and remixes, but I’m sure there’s lots more to it than that…

● For fans of twitter, facebook, jaiku, etc. (I’m not one), there’s now a single handy way of updating your status on all of them. Are you happy? Are you grumpy? Are you discussing the economy with the president of Burundi? REALLY? Everyone MUST KNOW. NOW! … *ahem*… Tell them with HelloTxt.

● The phishers are here and they want your AIB account details. Be vigilant.

● Finally, via Damien and Donncha - here’s 200+ people freezing on the spot in Grand Central Station, New York. Can’t see them trying this in Connolly or Heuston, can you..?

Via Boards.ie: Announced today on the Ray D’Arcy Show - there’s a CHANCE that Dustin the Turkey may represent Ireland at Eurovision 2008. We can only hope…!

● The BBC say Facebook has privacy problems, while the Independent has more questions and some pointers for using social networking sites. Interesting.

● Ryanair are being sued… not by a person, though… by France. Nice.

● Damien (thanks again for the fluffy badge!) has a fascinating interview with famous blogger, Twenty Major. Hopefully we’ll get to meet the guy in person at the 2008 Irish Blog Awards … Judging is starting now! If your nomination isn’t in by now… er… too late!

● Didn’t completely believe it when I saw this FOX11 report on YouTube:

… but yes, a group called “Anonymous” are launching attacks on Scientology - they’re discussing it on boards.ie - and they’re also arranging a demonstration of their own for Sunday Feb 10th in Dublin!

Irish ganster meets gangster rapper - nice Photoshop job, onefortheroad! :)

● Finally… (thanks to Ken), it’s Hello, Dave?:- HAL is taken over by Papa Lazarou of the League of Gentlemen.

I’m not a fan of Papa L. or TLOG, but this, I laughed at :)
