Spent most of yesterday in Belfast as the guest of UTV. Went up there on the “Enterprise” train. Didn’t see the point in going “1st Plus” class but did anyway. Sure, I’m worth it… I was there representing the ShiteDrivers site as a contributing member of the audience of a pre-recorded episode of “Late & Live”. Didn’t get to say a whole lot but had fun all the same.

It was my first time in Belfast so I took a few photos. Couldn’t really take any in the actual TV studios, naturally… but around the city… sure!

Some shops near where I was waiting for a taxi. One of them sells your stuff on eBay - just like in the movies! Yes.

I always thought I had a face for radio… Well now, that face for radio will be seen on TV as I’ve been invited to take part, as a representative of the ShiteDrivers.com web site, in a televised panel discussion programme to be screened on UTV!

It’s being recorded in their Belfast studios this Friday afternoon (May 2nd), so it’s northward-bound with me on the Enterprise on Friday morning!

The programme is about young drivers and ‘boy racers’ in Northern Ireland. If anyone reading this is interested in taking part too, read this. I’ve never been to Belfast before, nevermind to the studios of UTV… should be interesting!
